European and American turning centers have multiple VDI interfaces, suitable for light cutting occasions.

Zero point positioning tooth type (involute bolt groove type): German SAUTER (Schott) turret modified special drive tooth DIN5480/5482;

Plum blossom type: SPUR MT TOEM special drive gear for Italian BARUFALDI (Balafati) turret;

T-shaped gear: American HASS (Haas) special drive gear for turret;

2) BMT interface: Four bolts are used to fix the tool holder and the turret, with strong rigidity and high repeat positioning accuracy. However, it is relatively troublesome to replace the tool holder. In addition, this kind of interface appeared late. There is no unified standard at present, and each manufacturer has its own different BMT interface. Not interchangeable. Turning centers in Japan and South Korea mostly use BMT interfaces, which are suitable for heavy cutting.
